Agricultural Data Collector

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Field Enumerator. As a Field Enumerator, you will play a crucial role in collecting agricultural data on behalf of the National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct interviews with farmers, ranchers, and other agricultural businesses to collect data on crop yields, livestock, and other agricultural-related information.
- Travel to designated fields to perform crop counts and gather data.
- Maintain and deliver detailed and legible records of interviews, crop counts, mileage, expenditures, and hours worked.
Requirements:
- Experience multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to positively represent NASDA and the benefits of enumerators in all survey actions.
- Ability to make crop counts in designated fields.
- Ability to maintain a reliable personal vehicle.
- Ability to conduct interviews in person or by telephone with farm operators and other individuals.
