Traveling Registered Nurse

Cynet Health is seeking a skilled Traveling Registered Nurse - Surgical Oncology Specialist to join our team. As a Traveling Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a hospital setting, working with a range of health problems from simple to complex.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide nursing care to patients with a range of health problems, including surgical oncology patients.
- Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
- Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments, noting all changes in physician orders for assigned patients.
- Assist physicians in the examination of patients and in performing minor diagnostic procedures and treatments.
- Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients, observe physiological manifestations, and intervene when necessary.
- Administer medication as prescribed, including intravenous infusions and blood products.
- Deliver patient care competently, prioritizing patient needs and providing individualized care.
- Interact with family and patients, sharing care plans during the hospital stay and upon discharge.
- Inform patients and families of hospital procedures, including discharge instructions and follow-up care.
- Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel, including physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Delegate tasks to support staff, ensuring efficient and effective patient care.
- Current RN License (State Board or multistate compact eNLC)
- ONS/ONCC certification
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in surgical oncology or a related field
- Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing
- English (Speak, Read, Write)
