Job Summary

The Storage Administrator will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of our company's storage systems. This includes working closely with our IT team to ensure the integrity and security of our data storage infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and maintain storage hardware and software systems
  • Proactively monitor performance and capacity of storage systems
  • Manage volume distribution, maintain data protection, and implement backup and disaster recovery solutions
  • Collaborate with fellow IT professionals to ensure seamless integration of storage systems with other infrastructure components
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to storage configurations, processes, and procedures
  • Conduct regular security audits to safeguard data integrity and confidentiality
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for storage-related issues
Requirements
  • 10 years of IT experience with 5 years in Storage Administration
  • Experience with cloud storage solutions
  • Experience with Storage Area Network (SAN) fabric technologies
  • Knowledge of scripting languages for automation tasks
  • Design experience is a plus
  • Hand-on experience with storage management tools and software
