MyCare Medical Group is seeking a highly experienced and patient-centric Internal or Family Medicine Physician to join our team in southern Pinellas County. Our organization was founded by physicians committed to delivering high-quality, cost-effective care to adults and seniors.
Responsibilities:- Manage an adult-only patient panel with an expectation of seeing 15-18 patients per day
- Diagnose, treat, and manage the Medicare Advantage population with multiple comorbidities
- Perform annual physicals, educate patients on preventative health measures, and communicate plans of care
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of charts and medical records, adhering to clinical policies and procedures
- Provide direction and leadership to medical support staff, supervise nurse practitioners/physician assistants, and communicate effectively with the care team
- MD or DO degree from an accredited program
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Unrestricted medical license and DEA licensure in Florida or ability to obtain prior to employment
- Up-to-date CPR certification and Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, ability to problem-solve complex situations, and proficiency in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
