Job Summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Team. As a Nurse - Mental Health Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a patient-centered healing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to patients within your scope of practice, utilizing the nursing process to assess health status, establish nursing diagnoses, and develop, implement, and evaluate a nursing plan of care.
  • Collaborate with the Health Care Team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe care and service.
  • Assess and triage patients presenting to the health care setting, including unscheduled patients and emergencies.
  • Lead the nursing response to medical emergencies and ensure the readiness of the Health Care Team members to respond.
  • Accurately document patient data, actions, interventions, and patient response according to established guidelines and policies.

Requirements
  • Two (2) years of experience within a defined area (Mental Health/Behavioral Health)
  • Bachelors (BSN) degree
  • PrimaryLocation: Georgia, Sandy Springs, Sandy Springs Medical Offices
  • Shift: Day
  • Workdays: Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri
  • Job Schedule: Part-time
