Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide/Dish Washer to join our team at La Crescenta Healthcare Center. As a Dietary Aide/Dish Washer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by assisting in the preparation and service of food.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the assembly of meal trays and delivery to designated facility locations.
  • Prepare food items as directed by the Dietary Manager and Cook.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment in the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Complete ware washing and trash disposal tasks.
  • Collaborate with the Dietary Manager and Cook to ensure efficient food service operations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Working Conditions:

This position requires working in an institutional kitchen environment, which may involve standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and exposure to food allergens and cleaning chemicals. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.

Compensation:

The hourly wage rate for this position is $18.00, negotiable based on experience.
