Core Responsibilities:
  • Prepare exam rooms and ensure equipment is operational.
  • Manage patient flow and address any concerns regarding wait times.
  • Record vital signs and alert providers of any concerning results.
  • Update electronic health records with patient information.
  • Assist with patient examinations and treatments as directed.
  • Administer injections and document them appropriately.
  • Handle administrative tasks, including chart preparation and medication refills.
  • Ensure all medical equipment is maintained and properly sanitized.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • CPR certification preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Medical Assistant is required.
  • Strong team player with excellent customer service skills.
  • Basic computer skills are necessary.

Physical and Mental Requirements:
  • Able to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to respond calmly in emergency situations.
