SUE Technician III

We are seeking a highly skilled SUE Technician III to join our team at KCI Technologies, Inc. As a SUE Technician III, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient location of underground utilities.

• Operate and maintain vacuum excavation trucks and related equipment safely and efficiently
• Designate and locate underground utilities using various pipe and cable locating devices
• Create legible field sketches and perform simple mathematics and field measurements
• Document daily activities and perform records research
• Perform other duties as assigned, including regular out-of-town travel

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in utility locating or designating
• Experience with Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) is preferred
• Understanding of basic traffic control and hazards associated with working in and around traffic
• Ability to follow instructions and possess a positive can-do attitude
• Leadership and mentoring skills are a plus
