Job Summary:

The Janitorial Assistant will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in our office spaces. This includes cleaning floors, dusting surfaces, and emptying trash. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to ensure that our facilities are always clean and well-maintained.

Responsibilities:
  • Clean and vacuum floors in office and conference spaces
  • Clean and mop tile floors in restrooms and break areas
  • Remove all trash and operate compactor and bailer
  • Clean up spills and use power washer to clean sidewalks
  • Dust and wash surfaces, mirrors, and glass
  • Resupply items as needed
  • Use floor cones to designate potentially hazardous floor conditions

Requirements:
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations
  • Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements for this position
  • Must be able to use or learn to use the equipment and tools used to perform this job
  • Must complete the company introductory period
  • Must read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to this job and safety regulations

Working Conditions:
  • Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts or more depending on business needs
  • Lift/carry: 50 lbs.
  • Stand 55%, sit 0%, walk 45%
