Facility Information:
This role is within a Short Term Acute Care Hospital, featuring 173 beds and classified as a Level III Trauma Center.
Key Responsibilities:
As a CT Imaging Specialist, your primary duties will include:
- Operating CT equipment to generate detailed cross-sectional images of patients' anatomy.
- Preparing patients for diagnostic procedures, explaining the process, and positioning them accurately.
- Setting appropriate technical parameters to effectively demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
- Providing images to Radiologists for interpretation while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience as a CT Imaging Specialist is preferred.
- Current BLS certification and ARRT registration.
- State licensure may be required based on location.
- Strong critical thinking and interpersonal communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
The role requires the ability to remain stationary, move about, and handle equipment. Candidates should be capable of pushing, pulling, and bending as necessary.
