Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team in Crossett, Arkansas. As an Occupational Therapist with LHC Group, you will play a crucial role in helping patients achieve their goals and regain independence.


About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and evaluating patient care needs related to functional status, activities of daily living, fine motor coordination, home assessments, and adaptive equipment. You will work closely with the healthcare team to develop and implement personalized therapy plans that promote optimal outcomes.

  • Provide occupational therapy services within the scope of practice as defined by state laws governing the practice of Occupational Therapy.
  • Evaluate patient's functional status, status of all body systems as required for CMS documentation, and occupational therapy needs.
  • Consult with physicians in the development of the therapy plan of care.
  • Observe, record, and report patient's response to treatment and changes to the patient's condition.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • Current Occupational Therapy licensure in the state of Arkansas.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
