Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop Individualized Treatment Plans: Create tailored treatment plans to address students' specific needs and goals.
- Provide Direct Therapy Services: Deliver direct therapy services to students in a school setting, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
- Collaborate with Professionals: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication skills and develop strategies for success.
- Document Progress: Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and treatment sessions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology: Possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid State License: Hold a valid state license or eligibility for licensure in the state of employment.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC): Possess a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or be a Clinical Fellow (CFY) with the potential to obtain CCC.
- Strong Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and professionals.
- Ability to Work Independently: Possess the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, with a strong commitment to student success.
