Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Direct Therapy Services: Deliver direct therapy services to students in a school setting, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Collaborate with Professionals: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication skills and develop strategies for success.
  • Document Progress: Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and treatment sessions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology: Possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid State License: Hold a valid state license or eligibility for licensure in the state of employment.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC): Possess a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or be a Clinical Fellow (CFY) with the potential to obtain CCC.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and professionals.
  • Ability to Work Independently: Possess the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, with a strong commitment to student success.
