Barista Specialist

Job Summary:

The TRYP by Wyndham Pittsburgh/Lawrenceville is seeking a skilled Barista to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve beverages: Utilize your expertise to craft high-quality drinks according to our established procedures and in a timely manner.
• Manage orders and payments: Accurately enter orders into our computerized system and settle checks upon completion of each order.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace: Perform pre and post-shift side work, including restocking service stations, making coffee, and adhering to health and safety standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service: Demonstrate a friendly, courteous, positive, and professional attitude towards customers and guests at all times.
• Set up and maintain the bar area: Ensure the front and back bars are set up according to established procedures, maintaining a clean and inviting atmosphere for our guests.
• Present a professional image: Maintain a high level of personal grooming and adhere to our dress code standards.

Requirements:

• Experience: Prior experience as a barista or in a similar role is required.
• Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this position.
