About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and organized individual who can manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain accurate records. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Assist physicians and nurses with patient care, exams, and procedures
* Conduct thorough patient histories, perform screenings, and collect vital signs
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including lab results and test data
* Schedule appointments, verify insurance coverage, and manage patient demographics
* Perform administrative tasks, such as answering phones, handling correspondence, and maintaining supplies
Requirements
* Graduation from an accredited Health Sciences program or higher
* Current BLS Certification
* Valid driver's license
* Valid CMA certificate/license (RN degree with BLS certification and ACLS/PALS certifications within 6 months)
* Previous experience in a medical setting, preferably in a family medicine or pediatric environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain accurate records
