We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Care Nurse Specialist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente Walnut Creek Medical Center - KP. As a Critical Care Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU, including administering medications and treatments, and monitoring patients' vital signs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans, and to provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust care plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current RN license in good standing.
- Minimum one year of current ICU hospital experience with a strong track record of providing high-quality patient care.
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certification required, TNCC preferred.
