Job Summary

Industrial Trade Services is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team. As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed sketches and diagrams to ensure accurate installation of electrical wiring and equipment.
  • Measure, cut, bend, and assemble electrical conduit using various tools and equipment.
  • Pull wiring through conduit and connect it to lighting fixtures and power equipment.
  • Splice wires together using hand tools and apply tape or terminal caps.
  • Install control and distribution apparatus, such as switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels.
  • Connect power cables to equipment and install grounding leads.
  • Test electrical systems to ensure compatibility and safety.
  • Disassemble and repair defective electrical equipment or systems.
  • Load, transport, and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with previous experience in the field or a related area. Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the electrical trade is essential.

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $28-$32 per hour and 50 hours of work per week.
