Cooker Operator

Job Description

The Cooking Operator position at Darling Ingredients Inc. requires a skilled professional to operate and maintain the rendering machinery. Key responsibilities include monitoring pumps and grinders to ensure quality control and efficiently processing raw materials.

Essential Duties:

• Strictly adhere to safety protocols and procedures
• Regularly inspect and maintain equipment to prevent malfunctions
• Document all plant operations and maintenance activities
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve production goals
• Alert the shift manager to any issues or maintenance requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Age 18 or older
• Manufacturing or industrial experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a rendering facility or production environment
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally work 12-hour shifts
• Regularly required to walk, stand, sit, and perform manual labor
