Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Social Worker to join our team at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide psychosocial assessment and psychotherapy services to patients of all ages.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify patients' mental health needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' mental health issues
  • Provide individual, couple, family, and group counseling services to patients
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care
  • Supervise graduate students and provide consultation as needed
  • Document patient encounters and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in local community outreach activities and presentations
Requirements
  • Master's in Social Work from a graduate program accredited by the Council on Social Worker Education
  • Active Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in the state of Washington
  • Four hours of training in HIV/AIDS
  • Familiarity with EPIC/Cerner or other electronic charting systems
  • Exceptional communication and listening skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience in a clinical setting
  • Certification as a Chemical Dependency Professional
  • Previous experience in an acute medical or mental healthcare setting
