Job Description

Job Title: Primary Therapist

Job Summary:

BriteLife Recovery is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Primary Therapist to join our team. As a Primary Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing clinical services and interventions that support overall health and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions
  • Assess clients using standardized or evidence-based assessment tools and diagnose clients based on DSM-5 criteria
  • Complete biopsychosocial assessments in a timely manner, as assigned
  • Collaborate with clients to develop client-centered, recovery-oriented treatment plans that include goals and measurable objectives
  • Provide substance abuse treatment services specified in client treatment plans

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a behavioral health related field required
  • Working towards licensure and/or drug and alcohol certification
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency
  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a behavioral health related field strongly preferred
  • Drug and alcohol certification through state board (CADC, CAADC, ADC, AADC or equivalent) strongly preferred
  • Professional clinical license (LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT or equivalent) strongly preferred
  • Experience in substance use disorders treatment strongly preferred
