Job Description: As an Occupational Therapist PRN Weekend Hanover, you will work in a specialty area of occupational therapy, providing assessment and treatment services to patients. You will also serve as a clinical resource for other staff members and may have the opportunity to participate in research conducted within the Rehabilitation Institute.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain written documentation for all occupational therapy services rendered, including initial assessment, follow-up visits, and discharge summary.">
  • Communicate patient status to referring physicians and other healthcare team members.">
  • Complete necessary charge and statistical information to accurately reflect service rendered to patients.">
  • Schedule patients to achieve and maintain a level of productivity that meets or exceeds established standards.">
  • Provide verbal and/or written home instructions to patients and/or family members when applicable.">
  • Participate in the organization's clinical education program by providing clinical supervision of students completing internships from various universities.">
  • Maintain professional license/registration through steady pursuit and participation in appropriate continuing education and professional development opportunities.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited program approved by The Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE).">
  • Active license in practicing state required.">
  • CPR certification based on AHA standards.">
  • National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification.">
  • Occupational Therapist (OT) certification.">
  • Act 34 clearance.">
