Join Our Team as a Veterinary Compounding Specialist
At Wedgewood Village Pharmacy, LLC, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional care to our furry companions. As a Veterinary Compounding Specialist, you will play a crucial role in formulating high-quality medications tailored to the needs of our animal patients.
Work Schedule:
You will work Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Your Responsibilities:
- Prepare prescriptions for the pharmacist’s review and manage stock replenishments.
- Request drugs and supplies under the guidance of the pharmacist.
- Order, receive, and oversee the inventory of pharmaceuticals and chemicals, ensuring their safety and security.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including pharmacy supplies and stock.
- Input data into our computer system, documenting prescriptions, purchase orders, and inventory transactions.
- Assist the pharmacist in removing expired or unnecessary medications from inventory for proper disposal.
- Perform general administrative tasks for the department.
Your Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- California State Pharmacy Technician License is mandatory.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment is essential.
- Ability to adhere to detailed procedures and guidelines.
- Strong foundational math skills, including averages, percentages, and ratios.

- Able to lift up to 49 lbs occasionally and stand for extended periods.
