**Job Summary**

We are seeking a Business Analysis Manager to join our Internal IT Team. The Manager of Business Analysts is responsible for leading a team of business analysts who work closely with the application development teams and the business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and communicate the requirements for software solutions.

**Key Responsibilities**

The Manager of Business Analysts will:

  • Manage and mentor a team of business analysts, providing feedback, coaching, and guidance on their performance and career development.
  • Define and implement the business analysis processes, standards, and best practices for the application development teams, ensuring alignment with the Agile methodology and the business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the product owners, scrum masters, developers, testers, and other stakeholders to define and prioritize the product backlog, user stories, acceptance criteria, and other artifacts.
  • Facilitate and participate in the discovery, refinement, and validation sessions with the business stakeholders and the application development teams, using various techniques such as interviews, workshops, surveys, prototyping, etc.
  • Review and validate the business requirements, functional specifications, test cases, and other deliverables produced by the business analysts, ensuring quality, completeness, and consistency.
  • Manage and resolve the issues, risks, and dependencies related to the business analysis activities, escalating them as appropriate.
  • Monitor and report on the progress and performance of the business analysis activities, using metrics and tools such as burn-down charts, velocity, etc.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the business analysis practices and the Agile methodology, by soliciting and incorporating feedback, lessons learned, and best practices.

**Requirements**

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a business analyst in the application development domain, preferably in an Agile environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a manager or supervisor of business analysts or similar roles.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the Agile principles and practices, such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc.
  • Certification in Business Analysis, such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, IIBA-AAC, etc. preferred.
  • Certification in Agile, such as CSM, CSPO, SAFe, etc. Preferred.
