Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Litigation Associate to join our team at Staffing Technologies. As a Litigation Associate, you will be responsible for investigating cases, managing discovery, taking and defending depositions, document review, drafting and arguing motions, and preparing cases for trial.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate cases and gather evidence to support client claims
  • Manage discovery and ensure timely production of documents and information
  • Take and defend depositions, and conduct witness interviews
  • Review and analyze documents, and draft and argue motions
  • Prepare cases for trial, including developing trial strategies and preparing witnesses
Requirements
  • J.D. from an American Bar Association (ABA) accredited institution and admission to the California bar, or eligibility for reciprocity
  • Strong academic record and excellent legal research and writing abilities
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain strong client relationships and work effectively in a team environment
  • Willingness to travel to client meetings and work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to plaintiff work and a strong understanding of civil litigation procedures
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in representing plaintiffs in personal injury, medical malpractice, wrongful death, or toxic tort matters
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Recent graduates with a hard-working, driven attitude and an aptitude for legal research and writing
Compensation and Benefits
  • $130K - $175K (dependent on experience)
