We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Renovation Technician to join our team at Paradise Management, LLC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for conducting unit renovations, upgrades, and repairs to ensure our properties meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct unit renovations, upgrades, and repairs in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal laws.
- Perform tasks associated with unit upgrades, including demolition, floor preparation, installation of cabinets and countertops, millwork, trim, installation of doors, drywall, paint, electrical and plumbing.
- Handle work assigned by the Unit Upgrade Manager and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Attend scheduled safety meetings and maintain awareness of physical property conditions, reporting any unsafe conditions immediately.
- Deliver accurate records of materials needed and progress of the upgrade.
- Perform minor and routine maintenance on equipment and tools, and maintain them in excellent condition.
- Comply with OSHA regulations and applicable laws regarding health, safety, and environment.
- Train newly hired Upgrade Technicians and assist Property Manager/office personnel as needed.
- Consult with Property Manager and/or Service Manager on major repairs, replacements, and contracts.
- Attend meetings and seminars as requested by Unit Upgrade Manager/Director of Maintenance and/or Director of Operations.
- Perform tasks associated with snow removal, including shoveling, snow blower, plowing, salt spreading, and calcium spreading.
- Knowledge and ability to perform plumbing repairs, repair/replace locks and smoke alarms, replace screens/broken windows, appliance repair, electrical repairs, carpentry, drywall repair, construction, and change AC filters.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in a related field preferred.
