We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Care Specialist to join our team at SENTA Partners. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive support to our physicians and patients in the areas of case management and patient communications.
Key Responsibilities- Assist physicians with patient care during office visits, including performing diagnostic procedures such as skin testing and pulmonary function testing.
- Administer immunotherapy injections and maintain accurate records of emergency and priority patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in the management and treatment of reactions to immunotherapy, including consultation with physicians as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for medical procedures.
- Educate patients on their treatment plans, use of equipment, and medication delivery devices.
- Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse (R.N.) in the practice state.
- Previous experience in a medical setting, preferably in allergy and asthma care.
- Knowledge of clinic practice standards, policies, and procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
