Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Ultrasound Imaging Specialist to join our dedicated team at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. This role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in patient care.

Certification Requirements
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer OB/GYN (RDMS-OB/GYN) via ARDMS
  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) via ARDMS
  • BLS, ARDMS, ARRT Registered Sonographer Certification
Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct ultrasound examinations utilizing advanced equipment including GE Logiq E9, Philips IU22, and Mindray.
  • Maintain an average of 8 to 12 echo studies daily.
  • Collaborate with the Charge Nurse and Lead Tech, who also performs echo studies.
Work Schedule
  • Full-time position with 40 hours per week.
  • Shifts are 5 days a week, 8 hours per day, from 7 AM to 3:30 PM.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation during weekdays; no weekend on-call required.
Unit Information
  • Unit: Ultrasound
  • Orientation and training will be provided based on specific needs.
  • Scrub color: Black pants and pewter (gray) top (not provided).
Additional Information
  • Holiday work may depend on contract duration.
  • IV Team support available.
  • Hospitalist or Intensivist present in-house.
