Ophthalmic Technician

Northern Virginia Ophthalmology Associates, P.C. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. As an Ophthalmic Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our doctors in their daily operations.

We are looking for a motivated and organized individual to assist our doctors with patient exams, perform diagnostic tests, and administer treatment as ordered. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a strong attention to detail.

• Assist doctors with patient exams and procedures
• Perform diagnostic tests, such as visual acuity and refraction
• Administer treatment as ordered by the doctors
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Provide exceptional patient care and communication
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations

• Ophthalmic Tech experience
• Reliable transportation
• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices

• Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to maintain patient flow and prioritize tasks
