Job Title: Transportation Instructor

Are you passionate about teaching and working with students? Do you have experience as a school bus driver or instructor?

We are seeking a qualified Transportation Instructor to join our team at the AZ State School for the Deaf and Blind. As a key member of our transportation department, you will be responsible for providing training to staff on becoming certified to drive a school bus per Arizona rules and regulations.

This is a full-time position with a salary range of $17.00/hour and benefits package. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working with others, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide training to staff on becoming certified to drive a school bus per Arizona rules and regulations.
  • Perform driver evaluations, vehicle inspections, and road tests.
  • Maintain database for tracking certification, physical examinations, and drug test results.

Requirements:
  • Possess a valid Arizona CDL with passenger and S endorsement.
  • Hold a valid Arizona School Bus Instructor certification.
  • Have experience in public speaking, CPR, First Aid, and bus evacuation procedures.
