Position: Business Finance Analyst

Overview: The Business Finance Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting sales and business development initiatives. This position involves a variety of financial responsibilities aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance reports.
  • Conduct transaction reconciliations on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Prepare customized reports as required.
  • Work autonomously and collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Identify and implement improvements in financial reporting, analytical tools, and self-service capabilities in partnership with IT.
  • Create comprehensive analyses and reports using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Formulate recommendations and conclusions based on data analysis with some guidance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantitative analysis.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including PIVOT TABLES, MACROS, INDEX, MATCH, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, SUMIF, etc.). SQL knowledge is advantageous.
  • Strong initiative with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience handling large datasets and high-volume workloads.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proactive work style with excellent follow-through.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Willingness to work additional hours as necessary.
  • Self-motivated individual with a strong sense of intellectual curiosity and the capability to drive projects from inception to completion.
