Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - CT Imaging Specialist
Shift : Nights / 7p-7a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week
Length : 8 weeks
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience
- Associate degree in a relevant field
- BLS certification
- ARRT RT (R) certification required
- CT registry preferred
The specialist will independently conduct computed tomography (CT) procedures, utilizing appropriate techniques and administering contrast media as needed. They will operate within their scope of practice and adhere to licensure requirements regarding medication administration, equipment operation, and venipuncture. The role involves coordinating patient flow and managing the activities of the CT scanner, exercising professional judgment to maintain equipment in optimal condition. The specialist may also perform procedures in other imaging modalities as required by departmental needs and may have on-call responsibilities.
Education Requirements: Minimum Level of Education Required: Associate degree in Allied Health, with a focus on Radiologic Technology.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: CPR Certification is required; ARRT RT (R) registry is mandatory; CT registry is preferred; ODH licensure is required.
