Job Summary

This part-time custodian position is available for individuals who can work Monday through Friday, with flexible hours between 3pm and 8pm. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and be able to maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain floors, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
  • Dust and clean surfaces, including desks, countertops, and windows
  • Empty trash cans and replace liners
  • Clean and disinfect restrooms, including sinks, toilets, and mirrors
  • Replenish supplies, such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap
  • Monitor and order cleaning supplies as needed
  • Ensure cleaning equipment is well-maintained and in good working condition
  • Set up and arrange furniture for events or meetings
  • Break down and clean up after events
  • Follow safety procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Maintain a clean and organized custodial closet or storage area
  • Adhere to a cleaning schedule and prioritize tasks accordingly
  • Document completed tasks and report any issues or hazards to the supervisor
