Responsibilities- Customer Service: Greet and serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring that every guest leaves happy.
- Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, and beer, according to company recipes and standards.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels of beverages, supplies, and equipment, and report any discrepancies to management.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and a positive guest experience.
- Cash Handling: Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently, and balance cash drawer at the end of each shift.
- Sanitation and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to company standards and health and safety regulations.
- Alcohol Service Certification: Possession of a valid alcohol service certification is an asset.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
- Mathematical Skills: Basic mathematical skills, with the ability to handle cash and make change accurately.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, with the ability to operate a point-of-sale system and other software applications.
- Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits, and familiarity with standard drink recipes.
This is an hourly paid position, with varying days and hours of work according to business needs. The bar operates seven days a week, with hours starting as early as 9 AM and going as late as 2 AM.
