Lignetics Inc. is seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment. As a Production Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient production of our wood pellets and shavings products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist and operate various packaging equipment to ensure smooth production processes.
  • Work in close proximity to machines that compress wood by-products, maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Open compression chamber doors, facilitate the placement of bags, and remove bales from packaging equipment.
  • Record bale weights and maintain accurate records of daily activity in accordance with company standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance on packaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Develop the ability to learn and perform standard setups, adjustments, routine maintenance, and operating characteristics of all packaging equipment.
  • Forklift certification is required, or the ability to obtain certification to perform basic forklift duties as needed.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Manufacturing and production line experience is a plus.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, and the ability to concentrate for extended periods are essential.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for a minimum of 7 hours per day.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are required.
  • Basic math calculations are necessary for daily tasks.
