Key Responsibilities:

As a Commercial Vehicle Operator, you will:

  • Conduct thorough pre-shift and post-shift inspections, promptly reporting any issues to the maintenance team.
  • Safely operate vehicles to designated sites, delivering or collecting portable sanitation units and laundry equipment, while accurately updating work orders.
  • Maintain constant communication with dispatch to receive updates and instructions.
  • Adhere to safety protocols by securing equipment appropriately.
  • Ensure cleanliness and proper stocking of units before departure, collaborating with shop personnel as needed.
  • Follow all company policies and safety regulations diligently.
  • Maintain accurate logs in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Participate in special projects as directed by management.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A High School Diploma or GED along with a minimum of one year of commercial driving experience (CDL Class A).
  • The ability to comprehend and interpret documents effectively.
  • Strong communication skills for presenting information to clients and team members.
  • Physical capability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
  • A clean driving record with no accidents and minimal MVR points.
  • The ability to manage a consistent workload that includes manual labor.
  • Alertness and acuity that remain unaffected by any external factors.
  • Flexibility to perform physical tasks in various environments.
  • Willingness to travel across different states for extended periods, with potential for longer shifts.
