BayMark Health Services is seeking a highly skilled Counselor Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will be responsible for supervising counselors and counselor interns, ensuring the delivery of high-quality counseling services to patients.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Mentor Counselors: Provide guidance and support to counselors and counselor interns, ensuring they meet the highest standards of care and adhere to BayMark policies and procedures.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance: Conduct regular quality assurance file reviews to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as BayMark's policies and procedures.
- Clinical Record Maintenance: Ensure accurate and current clinical records are maintained, in accordance with federal and state regulations.
- Staff Development and Training: Provide ongoing supervision and training to staff, including in-service trainings, guest speakers, and literature reviews.
- Caseload Management: Manage counseling caseloads, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services to patients.
- Education and Certifications: Current licensure as an independently licensed clinician and supervisor, with a minimum of a Master's degree in a related field.
- Experience: Previous experience working with chemically dependent individuals, with a strong understanding of substance use disorder treatment.
- Skills and Qualities: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
