We are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our interdisciplinary team at Temple Rehabilitation Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission to maximize the health, function, and quality of life of those we serve.

About the Role

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will be responsible for providing patient care considering the needs specific to the standard of care for patients' ages, including geriatric and general inpatient rehabilitation patients. You will work under the supervision of the R.N. to assess patients, identify and initiate appropriate rehabilitation nursing interventions, and carry out the plan of care as indicated by the patient's needs and response to treatment.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients and identify appropriate rehabilitation nursing interventions
  • Carry out the plan of care as indicated by the patient's needs and response to treatment
  • Work under the supervision of the R.N. to assess patients and initiate interventions
  • Provide patient care considering the needs specific to the standard of care for patients' ages
  • Interact professionally with patients and families, involving them in the formation of the plan of care
Requirements
  • Graduate of accredited licensed practical/vocational nurse program
  • Current state licensure as Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse
  • CPR/BCLS certification. ACLS preferred
  • IV Certified required or obtained within 6 months highly preferred
  • Minimum six months' Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred
