Job Title: Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

UCHealth is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at UCHealth Poudre Valley Hospital Main Hosp in Fort Collins, CO.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to perform high-quality ultrasound examinations and provide exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnostic medical sonography and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct high-quality ultrasound examinations using various modalities, including abdominal, obstetric, and vascular sonography.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.
  • Monitor patient condition continually and report/respond to changes in status as appropriate.
  • Position patients and perform imaging procedures, ensuring optimal image quality.
  • Analyze results and identify issues with the quality of imaging results.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program.
  • Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Vascular Technologist (RVT), or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or certified in Sonography (S) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • State licensure if required by law.
  • BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
