CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled Medical Billing and Payable Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate invoicing for outstanding claims while providing exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain and review nursing documentation for invoice creation.
- Validate information in documents against billing system information.
- Work closely with nursing supervisors to resolve discrepancies in documentation.
- Manually create invoices for payment of nursing services by transferring information from Excel spreadsheets into a database.
- Meet department turnaround times and performance goals to ensure timely payment.
- 1 year of healthcare insurance billing experience.
- Experience using Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Must live within a 1-hour commute from the Monroeville, PA office.
- Effective customer service skills and experience working in a team environment.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to utilize analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate with clients in a professional manner, both verbally and written.
