Acute Care Nurse

MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a leading provider of contract staffing services, is seeking a skilled Long Term Acute Care registered nurse for a travel assignment in North Conway, New Hampshire.
About the JobThe ideal candidate will have eighteen months of recent experience in an Long Term Acute Care setting and be able to monitor and administer medications (orally, subcutaneously, and through an IV). They will also be responsible for educating patients and family on surgical processes and how to manage their illness/injury.
Key Responsibilities:- Care for 5-6 patients in the LTAC unit.
- Adjust and perform in fast-paced environment.
- Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients.
- Educate patients and family on surgical processes.
- Maintain accurate records and interpret electronic displays.
