Job Title: Optometrist

We are seeking a highly skilled Optometrist to join our team at a medical center located in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform basic visual acuity tests and measure distance and near vision.
  • Conduct color testing, pinhole vision, and contrast sensitivity testing.
  • Perform lensometry, autorefraction, and autokeratometery.
  • Conduct basic ocular motility tests and automated visual field testing.
  • Perform ophthalmic fundus photography.
Requirements:
  • Must be a Doctor of Optometry.
  • Must be a graduate of a school or college approved by the ACOE.
  • Must have a current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as an Optometrist.
  • Must have a BLS certification.
Benefits:
  • The salary for this position is $50 per hour.
  • Benefits are competitive and negotiable.
Schedule:
  • This is a full-time position.
  • Monday through Friday between the hours of 0700 and 1800.
  • 8.5-hour or 9-hour period shift to include an uncompensated 30-to-60-minute lunch break, depending on shift length.
  • Will not be required to work on federally recognized holidays.
