Position Overview:
A prominent regional medical facility is in search of a skilled, board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in cardiovascular surgery. The ideal candidate will possess experience in Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH) and will work alongside two seasoned cardiothoracic surgeons.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of two years of experience in routine cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures.
- Proficient in managing clinic follow-ups and providing post-operative outpatient care.
- Familiarity with minimally invasive surgical techniques is advantageous.
- Required experience in EVH and first assisting in surgical procedures.
- The APP will conduct daily patient rounds pre and post-surgery and perform follow-up evaluations in the outpatient clinic.
- Expected on-call schedule is 1:4.
