Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Territory Sales Manager to join our expanding sales team. This role is essential for managing existing client relationships while actively pursuing new business opportunities within the region. The ideal candidate will possess a strong HUNTER mentality and demonstrate a commitment to fostering long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify and pursue new sales opportunities with both new and existing clients.
2. Focus sales efforts on the most profitable accounts, optimizing time and resources.
3. Enhance profitability and product mix through effective customer engagement.
4. Conduct thorough market research to qualify sales opportunities and collaborate with inside sales teams.
5. Develop tailored sales solutions and competitive pricing strategies, clearly communicating the value proposition to clients.
6. Successfully close sales by securing purchase orders and ensuring efficient order fulfillment.
7. Provide exceptional customer service and maintain post-sales satisfaction to encourage repeat business.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience is strongly preferred; MS/MBA is a plus.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in a sales-driven role, capable of managing an established client base while seeking new partnerships.
- Knowledge of building materials is advantageous.
- Strong market insight, product expertise, and relationship-building skills, coupled with consultative selling abilities.
- A proactive and self-motivated individual with excellent planning, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant sales technology is required.
