Essential Responsibilities:
- Exhibits advanced knowledge, skills, and judgment to care for patients requiring complex assessments and therapies, high-intensity interventions, and continuous nursing vigilance.
- Proactively anticipates and responds to rapidly changing patient conditions.
- Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment utilized on patients, interprets and records electronic displays, and responds efficiently to life-saving situations.
- Develops and revises individualized care plans based on patient needs and responses.
- Communicates effectively with medical staff and interdisciplinary teams to manage the unit/department.
- Serves as a role model for staff and supports the goals of the hospital and nursing department.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification; ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC certifications may be required for specific areas.
- A minimum of 1 year of recent RN Circulator/OR experience within the last 3 years.
