We are seeking an experienced Senior Diagnostic Sonographer for a travel assignment in Abingdon, VA. As a Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech), you will conduct multi-specialty diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to departmental procedures, working under the direction of experienced staff sonographers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • ">
  • A certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited school of Radiologic/Ultrasound Technology program">
  • National certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or equivalent">
  • Advanced certification by accrediting body in specialty, RVT/RCS/RDCS or equivalent for Cardiac/Vascular, required within 18 months of hire">
  • BLS certification">
  • At least 2 years of experience in clinical settings, preferably in psychiatric or mental health hospitals or outpatient clinics">
