Boiler Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Boiler Technician to join our team at Camp Pendleton, CA. As a Boiler Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, operation, and repair of centralized boiler and chiller equipment and related auxiliary systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance, operation, and repair of centralized boiler and chiller equipment and related auxiliary systems.
• Monitor, operate, and maintain high pressure steam boilers, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, deaerators, surge tanks, feed water systems, and steam and chilled water distribution.
• Knowledge of chemical treatment systems and central plant DDC control system operation is crucial.
• Candidates must possess or obtain within the second year of employment a current Stationary Engineer's license from a city, state, or nationally recognized entity.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in a large complex Central Plant, supporting specialized facilities such as hospitals, with over 500 boiler horsepower, high pressure steam heating capacity, and 400 tons centrifugal chiller produced cooling capacity.
• High pressure steam boilers operation
• Chillers operation
• Maintenance of cooling towers, deaerators, surge tanks
• Feed water systems maintenance
• Steam and chilled water distribution
• Chemical treatment systems
• Central plant DDC control system operation
