Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Technician to join our team at Hearthside Food Solutions. As a Sanitation Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing production equipment and facilities.
  • Wet wash rooms and production lines to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Complete required reporting to reflect sanitation activities and issues.
  • Advises supervisor when supplies need to be ordered.

Requirements

To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; at least six months experience in a sanitation production environment preferred.
  • Ability to communicate and take direction from the Sanitation Group Lead and/or the Sanitation Supervisor.
  • Must be capable of being productive on third-shift scheduling.

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

Multi-shift production operations may be expansive, noisy, wet/humid and vary in temperature from refrigerated environment, ambient or warm in summer months depending on area of the facility.
