The Client Care Coordinator collaborates closely with funeral professionals and management to ensure that all arrangements are efficiently initiated and completed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Regularly engages with Funeral Directors to address and fulfill client needs.
  • Maintains consistent communication with families to facilitate necessary arrangements.
  • Handles initial inquiries and coordinates removal teams as required.
  • Collects essential information, processes death certificates, and manages insurance claims.
  • Schedules appointments for Funeral Directors to meet with families.
  • Creates and prints memorial materials; prepares, scans, and edits arrangement documents.
  • Orders necessary merchandise, floral arrangements, and urns.
  • Coordinates service schedules with churches, cemeteries, and staff.
  • Assists in setting up and dismantling funeral and visitation areas.
  • Provides support during funeral services and related events.
  • Helps with the dressing, casketing, and preparation of the deceased for viewing.
  • Transports human remains to the crematory facility.
  • Delivers cremated remains from the crematory to the funeral home.
  • Assists with removals as needed.
  • Ensures company vehicles are maintained and ready for service.
  • Adheres to all company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Performs additional administrative tasks as time allows.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Certification/License
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years in a clerical or customer service role is required.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment is essential.
  • Prior experience in the funeral industry is preferred but not mandatory.
