Production Line Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Manufacturing Associate to join our team at New Pig Corporation.

About the Role:

This is a production position responsible for performing various tasks related to manufacturing, quality control, and data entry. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform department operation procedures, including assembly, filling, and packaging products.
  • Conduct quality checks and collect data as needed to drive process improvement.
  • Enter production quantities and material usage into our computer-based system.
  • Participate actively in process improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain compliance with New Pig's Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to perform basic math functions.
  • Lifting capacity: up to 30 pounds continuously and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Able to produce products at standard rates.
  • Able to retrieve and apply quality information effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.
  • Commitment to completing tasks assigned.
  • Willingness to share input for manufacturing process improvements.
  • Familiarity with basic computer use.
  • Availability to work overtime when necessary.

Compensation and Benefits:

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of $16.25/hour + $1/hour shift differential.
