Lockheed Martin Space Production Operations is looking for an Advanced CNC Machining Specialist to enhance our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute the layout, fabrication, and evaluation of mechanical components;
  • Configure and operate various precision machining tools to produce original parts, tools, and devices for experimental applications;
  • Address challenges related to work-holding setups, unique materials, machine configurations, tools, product specifications, and production methods;
  • Conduct precision tasks adhering to strict tolerances and specifications for research engineers in a development lab environment, including some numerically controlled machines;
  • Oversee and ensure quality in accordance with statistical process control or other quality assurance protocols.
Essential Qualifications:

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical blueprints;
  • Familiarity with G&M code;
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Mazatrol;
  • Knowledge of Mastercam/NX is advantageous;
  • Familiarity with Siemens 840D Controller.
Security Clearance Requirement: This position necessitates a government security clearance; candidates must be U.S. Citizens.

Work Environment:

This position will be conducted on-site at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
