**Job Summary**

As a Security Officer at the State of Washington, you will be responsible for conducting routine and random security duties, including headcounts, room checks for cleanliness and contraband, and pat and strip searches. You will also maintain a written account of activities during the work shift and clearly document breaches of security, behavioral incidents, and youth behavior in various logs.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Conduct security duties to ensure the safety and security of state facilities and employees
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of security activities and incidents
* Identify and report potential security threats and breaches
* Collaborate with law enforcement and other agencies as needed

**Requirements**

* High school diploma or equivalent required
* 2+ years of experience in security or a related field
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
